Today was a good day.
The four of us spent approximately 8 hours at Scott’s house recording.
Joshua Taylor Stutsman was there part of the day. Good times.
We now have 3 new songs up on myspace.
Not perfect recordings, but not bad.
somnambulistic asked: thanks for the interest guys, how did you find us? our guitarist sean actually just told me about you guys and yall seem like awesome dudes playin sweet music. keep it midwest kids, take care.
yeah dude your guitarist messaged us about finding us a show in ohio. he also gave me the link to your tumblr. are you guys on myspace or anything?
A week from today we will spend an entire day recording and working on our EP!
Now we just have to hope that things go smoothly.
They probably won’t, but I guess that’s what makes it fun.
We’ve spent weeks already trying to figure everything out, but stuff is starting to come together.
Sometime within the next few weeks we will be recording our first EP, which will be self-titled. We had too many ideas for a name so we are just going to let the songs speak for themselves.
As of right now, the EP is going to be made up of five songs, which include three completely new songs that we’ve never recorded and two songs that we recorded as demos with terrible quality. “Donut Run” and “Hey Arnold” are not set to be put on the EP because people have already listened to those songs more than we ever expected. They are available for free download on our Last.fm and bandcamp pages.
I will try to keep everyone posted on the progress of the EP. We truly hope that everyone will be stoked on our first official release. We would also like to thank Nick Stutsman for recording our “Demo!” with “Donut” and “Arnold.” Also, thanks to everyone who has listened to or downloaded those two songs, and thanks to everyone who has told a friend(s) about our music. It is because of you that this EP means so much to us. Thank you very much.
